Find out what the Enfield Public Library offers for families on Saturday, February 1st from 9am until noon. Make a bookmark, get a library card, check out books, read a book to your child in our reading corner, decorate a heart with your favorite book or guess how many items are in the jar. Attend Playful Engineers with teaching artist and engineering enthusiast Jay Mankita at 10:00 am. Kids ages 5 and up will have a chance to design, build, test, and play with Rube Goldberg “Machines”, and other chain reactions. Kids will learn basic force and motion physics, as they build fun chain reactions using common toys and ordinary materials including dominoes, wood blocks, string, chain, pulleys, elastics, magnets and more! Two hours of building fun!

All programs are drop-in.

We are hoping that after visiting the library on February 1st you will decide which day works best for your family, and that will be your Take Your Child to the Library all year long!
