What’s important for children NOW? Revisiting our practice to support child development post Covid-19
While children may seem less vulnerable, physically, to this coronavirus, they may be more vulnerable, psychologically. If new, out of the ordinary and even challenging behaviors are suddenly present, consider them a message. Behaviors can be important signals from children expressing needs that they can’t put into words. What can we do to support our children during this crisis? Focusing on secure relationships and supportive environments can help. In this workshop learn how your children’s brains and behaviors may be impacted by trauma and leave with some basic practices to try at home to help everyone in the family cope.
