Key Initiatives To Early Education

KITE, EPS & Enfield FRC collaborate to offer free Kindergarten Camp in August

Kindergarten Camp
(a countdown to kindergarten)

Kindergarten Camp is a collaboration between Enfield Family Resource Center, Enfield Public Schools, and KITE. Held at the Stowe Early Learning Center, this is the first step into primary school for these future grads of 2035. The two-week camp is designed to prepare the campers for the daily routine of the classroom and introduces core curriculum Music, Art, Gym, Science, Math and Reading through activities and in-house field trips.  Many of the children have not had formal preschool experience. K-Camp eases the transition, helping to prepare the child to write their name, identify letters and numbers, transition between activities, take turns, and classroom etiquette. Skills critical to their future success.

KITE’s partner, Enfield Family Resource Center manage and staff the 2-week program that’s offered at no cost to Enfield families.  Exciting in-house field trips scheduled throughout the next two weeks focus on science, gym, and music.

Spots are limited and priority is given to students without previous preschool experience. To apply email:
