KITE, in partnership with the Enfield Public School, is scheduled to launch a 3-Part Transition to Kindergarten Series. The series is for parents of children who will enter kindergarten in September 2022. Parents will learn about the registration process, the kindergarten curriculum and structure of a kindergarten day. Speakers include, Enfield’s Superintendent, the Nursing Supervisor, all three primary principals and vice principals, and kindergarten teachers.
- On Tuesday, April 5 parents will be able to do a drive-by pick-up of Enfield’s Kindergarten Transition Packet. Information includes how to register, what documents are needed to register, required medical forms, contact/district info and tips to get you and your kindergartener ready for this big milestone. For the convenience of families, there will be two pick up times. The times are 6:30AM – 8:30AM and 5:00PM – 7:00PM The locations are: Front of Alcorn School (1010 Enfield Street)
- On Monday, April 11 a video presentation featuring all the presenters and a power point about the kindergarten day will be posted on the KITE and Enfield Public Schools websites, for families to watch at their convenience. Video will premiere 4/11 and can be viewed through 4/20
- On Wednesday, April 20 KITE will host a LIVE Zoom Q&A for families. Those who participated in the video presentation will be available to answer questions. Following the large group Q&A, families will be invited to join a breakout room with the principal of the school their child will be attending. ** families must register to receive the live link.
